Noisy

A while ago Vinnie and I traveled a long way to Castle Noisy, we went there because every urbexer need to go there someday so we travelled 2.3 hours to go there. I liked the location and I liked the trip, but it isn’t a real beautifull location, I think we all would agree that only the outside it beautifull.
Some history:
The official name of the castle is Château Miranda, later named Home de Noisy.
The first owner was Graaf de Liedekerke-Beaufort, he lived in the castle from 1816 to 1890. During the French revolution, the family of the Count from Liedekerke-Beaufort has left the nearby castle of Vèves to hide in a farm outside the village. After the revolution, the farm took the name of castle and finally became this gigantic house. The castle is built in 1866 by an English architect called Milner.
After WWII inherits of this family leave the castle. From the 1950′s the castle is used for 20 years by the national railway company NMBS. The castle was used as a home for the children of the NMBS employees.
After the 1970′s the castle was used for sport and activity camps for children. In 1991 the castle is abandoned.

Vinnie and I visited the crypt and where on our way to Anna but our navigation system showed us a other urbex location on our route.
We took the first exit and went to the coordinates that the Tom Tom was showing, it was a 1 km walk in the forest and we found this place.
The place was really great (not) and I’m sure my life would suck if I didn’t found this place.

Somewhere in Holland stands this Monastery, I couldn’t find info about how long its abandoned, but my guess is that is abandoned part by part. Some parts where pretty old on other places we found stuff from 2007.
I’m going to find more info about this place, but so far no luck. I visited this location twice within a week.

On 25-07-2009 we finally went back urbexing, my partner Vinnie needed to take a holiday so I didn’t urbex for like four or five weeks.
We went to this Crypt somewhere below Brussels, the oldest grave was from 1878 and it was a really strange place to be. I have shot many pictures there but here are my first, I will update the picture later on

In 1958 this psychiatric hospital was build in Amersfoort. Because this was the only Jewish hospital in Europe there were many foreign patients treated in this hospital. In 1968 a children’s wing was added to the building.
Beside the hospital we found also a swimmingpool and a gym on this location
In the end of 2007 the hospital moved to Amstelveen, the old hospital becamea abandoned but it got very vandalized by local the local youth, now the building is taken over by squatters but the demolishing is planned for 11-2009
